These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of MockMate AI ("Service"), operated by MockMate AI ("we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Service Description

MockMate AI is an AI-powered mock interview practice platform. Users can practise interview questions across multiple roles and rounds and receive AI-generated feedback reports. The Service is intended for educational and skill-development purposes only.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use this Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you should have parental or guardian consent.

3. User Accounts

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must provide accurate and current information during registration.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Payment and Fees

• A fee of ₹5 (Indian Rupees) is charged to unlock each completed interview feedback report.
• Payments are processed securely by Razorpay. We do not store your payment details.
• The fee is non-refundable once the report has been generated and delivered, except as described in our Refund Policy.
• Prices may change at any time. Changes will be communicated before taking effect.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or copy the question bank or AI outputs.
• Share your account with others or allow others to use your account.
• Attempt to circumvent the payment system.
• Upload or transmit harmful, offensive, or illegal content.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on the platform — including question banks, design, code, and AI prompts — is owned by MockMate AI. You retain ownership of the answers you provide. By submitting answers, you grant us a limited licence to process them for the purpose of generating your feedback report.

7. AI-Generated Content

Feedback reports are generated by an AI model (Anthropic Claude). While we strive for quality, AI outputs may occasionally be inaccurate, incomplete, or irrelevant. We make no guarantee about the accuracy of feedback. See our Disclaimer for full details.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MockMate AI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you to us in the 30 days preceding the claim (minimum ₹5).

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Rajasthan, India.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
