Product Manager interview at a fintech startup (Rejected, but learned a lot)

Got rejected at the final round but it was the best interview prep I've had. Questions included: "design a feature to improve user retention", "how would you prioritise between two features", and a lot of "tell me about a time..." behavioural questions.

Where I lost: I gave buzzword-heavy answers without concrete metrics. They wanted specifics — numbers, trade-offs, outcomes. Practising the STAR method properly would have saved me.
