My TCS NQT experience as a 2025 fresher (Selected)

Sharing my full TCS NQT journey in case it helps someone. The test had three sections — numerical ability, verbal, and a coding round with 2 questions.

Coding round

One question was a simple string reversal, the other was finding the second largest element in an array. Both were doable in 20 minutes if you practised basics.

Interview

They asked about my final-year project, OOP concepts (polymorphism vs inheritance), and one puzzle. Be ready to explain your project end to end — they dig into it.

Advice: don't over-prepare on advanced DSA. Communication and clarity on basics matters more here.
